Apocalyptica is a band/group/collection/i know Symphonic Heavy Metal / Neo-Classical Metal originating from Helsinki, Finland, formed in 1993.

Apocalyptica consists of 3 cellists and 1 drummer. Apocalyptica’s music has elements from classical music, Neo-Classical Metal, Symphonic Metal and Thrash Metal (which categorizes not me )

Apocalyptica started his career in 1993 by playing Metallica covers. But once the concept became popular, Apocalyptica wrote their own original works retaining the Thrash Metal influence on the albums “Inquisition Symphony” and “Cult”.
